Baehrly Breathing (Goldie Locke and the Were Bears, #1) - Elizabeth A. Reeves Started off as a 3 star read but by the end got downgraded to 2 be fair, it wasn't a badly written book, it just wasn't my cuppa. It is cutesy ( though the cover, as pretty as it is, totally hoodwinked me! It, IMO def doesn't say cutesy!), and I loved all the animals, ESP the elephant! But beyond that, I just wasn't all that interested. There's very little depth, and almost no characterization, and neither potential hero ( yep, there's a triangle) was very heroic, IMO....also with so little info on the characters it was also hard to really like any of them. If I hadn't put this down so many times, I probably would have finished it in a few hours rather than half day it took me. So yeah, I probably won't read the next book ( though seriously, the elephant was super cute), but again, it's not a bad book...just not my thing.
